'bringing the dead back to life' is just a euphemism. what do you think the richest and oldest and closest to death people of the world would pay to become 7 years old again? if the BO is bringing together computer programming elements to 'recreate' or 'make up' a person's life... say your son's long lost love-child... when you took the ATPX and turned 7 again you would 'die somehow' then BECOME your own grand-child and you could leave your entire fortune to YOURSELF! except what the BO would want for the ID and backstory and ATPX...

as to the case at hand about the wall-scroll...it's obviously a staged burgle by either the house-wife or the gramma.

here's my salient plot points:
1. the antiques dealer would NEVER be able to sell that scroll for DECADES if it was stolen, because it is so rare and unique. well. he couldn't sell it to any reputable collector. he'd have to go on the black-market.

2. unless the dealer and the 'collector' are in cahoots.

3. the collector who lives in that building would know he was the prime suspect immediately. plus, the collector knows about the husband's 'stock problems' so all he has to do is slowly put the screws to the family about the money and they'll fold.

4. neither the gramma nor the house-wife would mess up the hina doll display, but a real burglar just might. also, like Conan said, no real burglar would leave an obviously placed purse untouched. i bet if the police/Conan/Detective Boys Club searches the house they'll find the scroll. either that, or gramma/wifey hid the scroll while they were out running their errands.

5. if they could pull off a half-decent burgle either wifey or gramma could collect on the 20mil insurance, pay off hubby's investment losses, and the family would still have the scroll.

also, i bet i've figured out Ayumi's second photograph plan. she's going to arrange the Detective Boys Club on the stairs in that apartment complex exactly like the hinamatsuri doll display. but i bet she makes herself the Empress and Conan the Emperor... Haibara will be one of the Empress' attendants/ladies in waiting... and the two boys will be either the Ministers or the Drunkards. :D

Fountain of youth makes sense for Aptx, but then it doesn't seem like most of the bo members know or think that, even Haibara herself. Idk Aptx has always been confusing. We don't even know it's purpose after 1000+ episodes 😭😭

Agasa is making Kaitou Kids gadgets. Ok so in the series Magic Kaito 1412 episode 2 at 04:18 Kaito asks Jii if he made all the gadgets, Jii says no an then he says a proffesor he knowes made those for him. Then it cuts to a window and theres a car parked outside that turns on and drives away, if you look closley is is Agasa Hiroshi’s yellow beetle. That means he ,eamt Agasa by saying professor

mhm that's been a fan theory for a while now, Agasa is helping Kaito out somewhat. now as to the validity of it... i don't know.

But if Agasa really made the gear wouldn’t he question his friend why he would need it? Or/and wouldn’t he figure out Jii has something to do with Kaito Kid, and if he made the gear that would mean that there is a good chance that he made the 8-ball table so there is a good chance he knows Kaito Kid’s hideout.

considering Agasa isn't exactly... 'all there' when it comes to his gadgets... some fail catastrophically and others actually have gained him some decent income and patents... if Kaito's butler is able to pay Agasa regularly and fairly i doubt the Prof would mind much... especially since they're all non-lethal nor are they highly destructive... at least from what i've seen in Conan... i haven't watched Kid's solo series so i'm not highly knowledgeable about that part of the Conan-verse.

Well the kaito series was written (as manga) year 89 and Conan was written 94 so when Gosho merged them he (With the DC series) the gadget part wasn’t included, so the gadget part is an anime original Canon episode
